Due to the entrepreneurial spirit within KAP, our business is always faced with exciting times!

We employ more than 5 000 employees in South Africa and we’re all part of a strong and successful business. We share a common set of values and goals even though we have different divisions across a number of provinces. We know that in order to be successful, we must attract, develop, and retain talented and dedicated people who are committed to making an impact.

We embrace diversity and believe that this should internally represent the markets we serve.

An executive committee, comprising the executive directors and senior management, carries out the day-to-day management of the group and carries out the tasks delegated to it by the board. The managing directors of the main operations are members of the executive committee. With the group being structured into two clearly defined business focuses – industrial and consumer – it is strongly driven by this entrepreneurial culture of the independently run companies. Management are empowered to make decisions and the Group HQ operates in a more decentralized and support role in terms of the operational functions of each business.

Operating in competitive industries, it is important to create an environment where improved productivity can be motivated by fostering on-the-ground confidence in people, in processes and ultimately, in the products.
