An executive committee, comprising the executive directors and senior management, carries out the day-to-day management of the group and carries out the tasks delegated to it by the board. The managing directors of the main operations are members of the executive committee. With the group being structured into two clearly defined business focuses – industrial and consumer – it is strongly driven by this entrepreneurial culture of the independently run companies. Management are empowered to make decisions and the Group HQ operates in a more decentralized and support role in terms of the operational functions of each business.
